You can always count on wings + horns for solid collections season after season. The Canadian contemporary menswear brand’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection is now hitting retailers and here is a look at some items available now. We don’t see anything out of the ordinary from w+h, but that’s not a bad thing. The collection consists of solid pieces like trousers, corduroy pants, chinos, oxfords, knits, blazers and one of the brand’s best offerings, their loop terry fleeces. The new releases are now available at Roden Gray.

They continue with their signature style, producing quality jersey pieces, nice blazers, and also some great shirts. We like the new patterns in the collection and also the leather biker jackets, next to the jersey, that is always exceptional.

Canadian brand Wings + Horns gives us a look at their upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. While staying true to its look and previous collections, we still feel like the upcoming line is a little different from what we are used to see from them. The fleece pieces are of course as strong as you would expect, featuring some great hoodies, crewneck sweaters, long-sleeves and shorts. Otherwise the collection is also looking nice, with the light weight motorcycle jackets, shirts and shorts being our favorite.

Coinciding with their release of the Wings + Horns x Heritage Research Jackets comes the 2nd delivery of the Wings + Horns Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Notable are the Down Filled Vests, the Handknit Duffle Sweater, and the Large Loop Terry Reversible Hoodies and Crewnecks. The collection is available now in-store and online at Haven.

In an interesting team-up, UK’s Heritage Research got together with Canada’s Wings + Horns on two jackets for Fall/Winter 2011. They present this season a collaborative Fishtail Parka and a Bomber Jacket. Both have been constructed in the UK with British Millerain Waxed Cotton. Other nice details include quilted liners made of Natural Cambric cotton, Storm collars wtih zip out hoods, Swiss Riri zippers, and hidden snap pockets.

Both jackets are now in stock at Haven.

Canadian brand Wings + Horns has yet to disappoint us, but it looks like it will not happen any time soon. We take a closer look at their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection today and as usual the outerwear and of course fleece are very impressive.

But they also stepped up their game in new fabrics and offer a range of newly developed styles for the coming season.

Canadian brand Wings + Horns continues to enlarge their sneaker offering for Fall/Winter 2011. This time they present three low tops and three high tops, featuring premium leather or suede uppers and a premium leather white toe cap. The high top sneakers also come with side-zippers. All of them feature leather lacing, only adding to the clean and premium aesthetic of the range. Roden Gray will be carrying the new sneakers from mid August 2011.

We get an early look at an upcoming Fall/Winter 2011 high top sneaker from Wings + Horns. The sneaker features a premium black leather upper with matching toe cap and a RiRi side zipper. The crisp white outer sole is a nice contrast and the leather laces a solid finishing touch. Overall a clean looking premium sneaker to look out for next season.

Canadian label wings + horns continues to be one of our favorites, season after season. They do an excellent job balancing current trends with staple looks and an acute focus on fit, material and craftsmanship. Their Fall/Winter collection was recently presented as part of Holt Renfrew’s Canadian showcase at LG Fashion Week in Toronto and does not disappoint. As you can see in the images above the Heritage Research British Millerain fishtail parka and the new Italo-made sneakers we previewed from (capsule) Paris were both shown, alongside some excellent down pieces, pants, sweatshirts and more.
