Claw Money x Nike Vandal Hi

09 October 2007, 22.39 | Posted in Sneakers | 1 comment »

RTEmagicC claw newvandal 1.jpg Claw Money x Nike Vandal Hi
In July we presented you the Claw Money x Nike Blazer Pack, the very first Nike Tier 0 pack targeted at women and designed by a woman. Nike has teamed up again with the graffiti artist/fashion designer. This time they worked on the Vandal Hi. This unique partnership between Nike and CLAW Money creates the next level of dialogue between Nike’s product and the very culture that has embraced it.  “Nike and street art, have been teaming up since day one”, says Jesse Leyva, designer for Nike.
The Claw Money x Nike Vandal Hi Pack consists of overall 3 styles. The Vandal Hi rarely gets special treatments, which makes this pack stand out even more. Here some words by Claw describing the project:
“The vandal is my favorite high top of all time! It used to be super rare and finding in a small size (which means girl’s sizes to all you collectors out there!)  was almost impossible! Now Nike and  I am bringing this gem to the ladies, so they can step out in the best!

I used a peacock feather to distinguish it as the rare bird it is. You don’t just want to be in the flock-  Stand up and stand out!!”
The Claw Money x Nike Vandal Hi Pack will be released at IHeart in NYC on the 25th of October and then roll out to other Tier 0 stores on the 27th of October.
Check out detailed pictures of all four sneakers in the pack after the jump.

Nike “Horse” Pack

RTEmagicC Nike horse Pack 1.jpg Nike Horse Pack
We just reported about some exciting Nike Court Forces for women and here comes a pack also entirely dedicated to women – the Horse Pack. For a long time women were not really targeted with limited and special releases, but now Nike seems to have understood that there is a market for them.
The Nike “Horse” Pack consists of two Blazer Hi’s and two Dunks. The Dunks feature chocolate and noir horsehair as well as a version with a creamier mane. We were never really big fans of the fur and horse hair sneakers for men, but this pack for women is hot. The Dunks a little more subtle and the Blazer Hi’s with fat stripes and patterns a little more loud. Pics via Sneaker Freaker.
Check out the entire pack after the jump.

RTEmagicC sinful ss08 1.jpg Sinful Things Spring 08 Preview
Sinful Things jumped into our eye first through collaborations with Fiberops and Methamphibian some time last year. By now we appreciate the collection usually concentrating on nude graphics with a twist, a style that has become a signature for the brand.

Here we can give you now a first look at their t-shirts coming out Spring 2008. The direction of the brand stays the same. After the jump you see both mens and womens tees coming out early next year.

Made Me – First To Fall F/W ‘07 Collection

07 August 2007, 17.57 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

RTEmagicC mademe head 01.jpg Made Me First To Fall F/W 07 Collection
Erin Magee, creator and designer of MadeMe, has formulated a refreshing maturity and quality to women’s streetwear. As MadeMe launches “First to Fall” with its Fall/Holiday 2008 collection, Magee fuses together the comfortable and confrontational nature of streetwear with the confidence and sex appeal of a woman. With rare innovation in denim design (think your boyfriend’s jeans, but specifically fitted for a girl), high-waisted denim, an array of soft tees and striking leather bomber jackets, MadeMe is the ideal collection for the grown up girl who was raised in the age of streetwear.

The first MadeMe collection hits stores this fall and includes two contrasting denim looks, leggings, graphic t-shirts, hoodies and stylized leather bomber jackets. Erin Magee got her start in fashion over 4 years ago, managing the successful collaboration between designer Kim Jones and sports brand Umbro creating an exclusive, high-end streetwear collection. Since then she has styled editorial and video shoots for a multitude of musicians and top tier publications. Over two years ago, Magee joined the world famous Supreme brand as Production Manager. After designing and manufacturing men’s streetwear for years, Magee developed the concept behind the MadeMe brand – bring quality product to the ladies who have lived in the male dominated streetwear market.
It is great seeing girls step up and making it happen. From these first pictures the collection certainly looks promising and we hope to see a lot more from her in the coming years. Check out some more pieces out of her first collection after the jump.

Hellz Bellz Fall ‘07 Preview

RTEmagicC R0010741.JPG Hellz Bellz Fall 07 Preview
Of course we also took a closer look at the Hellz Bellz collection at United Tradeshow. We already knew before that the brand was doing great work and was one of the strongest in the female streetwear market, but they proofed again with their new Fall 2007 collection that they do not sit on that.
Looking at the new Hellz Bellz Fall 2007 collection, the key word is clearly progression. Thinking back when they started not too long ago with just a couple of t-shirts, Hellz Bellz now presents a very complete collection. Jackets, hoodies, crewnecks, t-shirts, some great wool pieces, shirts, denim and more. Every piece is well though through and has a smart twist either in design or in the cut. The denim program looks great these days as well, with a nice line-up. They are clearly stepping it up and becoming a leader in the womens market. We also already had a look at Holiday and its looking equally strong. The one thing we are missing for now and we hope to see some time next year, is nice accessories. But we are sure they are already working on that.
Keep your eyes on Hellz Bellz as they are making big moves. Check out a complete Fall 2007 preview after the jump.
