Last week we spent a couple of days in Copenhagen. Among the events we attended, was the new Wood Wood Spring/Summer 2011 runway presentation. The Danish label presented the new line in a great location, consisting of several rooms, with models walking all over the place. An interesting detail in the presentation was, that all models came onto the runway entirely wet. After the show we asked the Wood Wood designers what the idea behind that was – the hot summer was the answer.

The new collection goes a little back to the street roots of the brand, consisting of jackets, pants, sweaters, and some great accessories.

The first product of the new Wood Wood Fall/Winter 2010 Collection has been released. The drop includes some great shirts, jackets and our favorite pieces come from the new sweater range. The new collection is now available at all Wood Wood locations, as well as their online store.

After giving you a first look at the apparel and the footwear from the Wood Wood x ellesse Fall 2010 Collection last week, we can show you the complete lookbook of the line today. The Danish brand designed two low top footwear styles, as well as a complete clothing line to complete the collaboration.

The Wood Wood x ellesse Collection will get into select stores, as well as the three Wood Wood stores towards the end of the month.

In addition to the footwear we showed earlier today, Wood Wood also worked with Ellesse on a full line of apparel. Produced in colors to match the shoes, the line is almost entirely done in navy blue and royal with some great sweats, track jackets and shorts with various stripe and Wood Wood x ellesse logo details. The full collection will launch shortly. Stay tuned for an official look.

Danish brand Wood Wood worked with Ellesse on a quite extensive collaborative collection. The collection consists of footwear and clothing. Here we preview the footwear first, which consists of two low top sneakers. The sneakers feature canvas/suede uppers, the vintage Ellesse logo on a tag and the collaborative Wood Wood x Ellesse logo on the in-sole. Look out for a preview of the apparel soon.

Wood Wood officially announces their upcoming collaboration with Ellesse Heritage. The Italian sportswear brand has presented some of the most iconic styles in sportswear over the last 51 years. Wood Wood has worked on a capsule collection of both footwear and clothing, fusing the best of both brands. The line will be officially presented next week in Berlin. We will of course keep you posted.

Denmark’s Wood Wood presented their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection during Copenhagen Fashion Week (video here.) With the release drawing nearer, we present a closer look. As evident in the images above, the label continues to mature, blending street influences with higher fashion ideals. Look for these pieces in stores shortly.

STHLMVII is a football tournament/series of talks, which aims to connect the creative communities of Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Copenhagen.

Ben Drury (UK, Art Director) and Nicholas Haggard (NYC, Photographer) have both contributed to the creation of STHLMVII. Ben has created the STHLMVII crest, which will be on all teams football kits along with their own self-designed crest. Nicholas Haggard will document the tournament & the teams; his photographs will be exhibited at restaurant Tranan 10th June – 24th June.

Ben Drury, Nicholas Haggard, Brian SS Jensen & Karl-Oskar Olsson (CPH Fashion designers, Wood Wood,) and four other presenters, will stage talks throughout the day where they will share their experience in their creative fields.

Danish label Wood Wood also celebrates the upcoming soccer worldcup and has released a series of t-shirts representing several countries, including Argentina, France, Germany, Algeria, England and of course South Africa. The t-shirts are now available in their online store.
