We first reported about Coarsetoys when they collaborated with Vans on real life size figures. Then last year, for the opening of the Vans Butchers Block Berlin store they made for the first time a 1:3 scale figure, which was still larger than most other toys out there.
It seems like they continue with the new size and present now the 1:3 size Pain Edition. The Pain Edition is 25″ tall and comes in a nice wooden box. The figure will go for 320 USD and we cannot tell you so far how many of these will be released. They will be available in Europe at Vans stores in London, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona and Utrecht. Converse has a big year ahead, as they will celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2008. Starting the celebrations early, they present already the Converse Century Pack. The pack consists of three sneakers – Pro Leather, All Star Revolution and All Star. The sneakers come in varying tones and each come packaged in a nice vintage looking wooden box. Also the sneakers have got a vintage look to themselves with the uppers being made up of distressed leathers. Via Sneaker Freaker.
