Woolrich worked for Fall/Winter 2009 on a couple of pieces with Japanese brand nanamica, who are best known for their on-going creation of The North Face Purple Label among other exciting ventures. For Fall/Winter 2009 they present severl special coats, where nanamica once again added some interesting technical materials and features to otherwise very classic Woolrich pieces. The Mountain Parka comes in indigo and in black and features a Gore-Tex lining. Furthermore they also worked on a special version of the popular Woolrich Polar Parka.

Once again Monocle has gotten together with some interesting partners. For the second time they worked with Woolrich Woolen Mills and they also get together with Tomorrowland from Japan this season. Together with Woolrich they present another limited edition jacket that is more appropriate than the previous one, for the colder months ahead. With Tomorrowland they worked on a very simple, yet comfortable fleece crewneck sweater. Both pieces are now available in the Monocle online store.

We already showed you some images of the Converse x Woolrich collaboration for Fall/Winter 2009. Yet here are some better looks at the All Star Hi Rugged from the collaboration, an interesting alteration of the classic Converse sneaker. Aside from adding classic Woolrich fabrics to the upper, the sneaker also received an updated outdoor sole. They come in black/red and black/blue and will be released in the near future.

After an initial preview a couple of days ago, we show now more detailed images of the Converse Chuck Taylor Pack by Woolrich. The heritage fashion brand produced a Chuck Taylor High and a Chuck Taylor Low, both come in blue and red plaid versions. The sneakers could not better reflect the design values of Woolrich. The pack will be hitting store 1rst of August.

In an interesting collaboration Converse gets together with Woolrich, the heritage brand. The collaboration collection consists of overall 4 sneakers. The Chuck Taylor All Star comes in both low and high versions with plaid uppers and waxed black laces, white leather branding. The Poor Man Pro Team and the Weapon 86 come in corduroy versions. All four look good, even though we lean more towards the Chuck Taylors.

Japanese brand Sifury  got together with Woolrich to work on a couple of jackets. The jacket comes in black and in black/red  plaid, features some nice leather patch details. Based off of an American heritage piece, the Japanese once again managed to infuse some more quality and up to date style into it. Via Unbar.

We just came across the newly released Sifury x Woolrich x Anoutcommune vintage chambray shirts. They come in black, blue and beige and with minimal Sifury branding above the chest pocket. Produced by Woolrich, you can be sure that the shirts are of authentic quality. A nice piece for the winter.

Woolrich is one of the classic American workwear brands. Just like so many others, an Italian company bought the license for Europe and created based on the heritage of the brand a lifestlye brand. The brand blew up in Europe already about 5 years ago and has now arrived back in the US and in Japan. The European line is manufactured in the US and the US line is actually manufactured in Asia.
