The official WTAPS Fall/Winter 2011 Collection Lookbook has been released this week, highlighting some key styles from the new line of the Japanese brand. While staying true to its brand, the military inspiration might be a little less apparent this saison, compared to previous ones. The outerwear ist still among our personal favorite.

Today we can present you the new collection by Japanese brand WTAPS. For Fall/Winter 2011, the brand sticks to its military inspired roots, yet offers a more contemporary look. ‘Way of Life’ offers a nice range of outerwear, shirting, pants, as of course also accessories. A sophisticated daily look is offered up, which strikes with its easiness and versatile possibility of use.

WTAPS has just announced a new flagship store. Entitled ‘Guerilla The Incubation Period’ (GIP in short), the store will be located in the Shibuya area of Tokyo and will be the next chapter after the Blackflag store. Until now WTAPS was usually sitting next to Neighborhood in the Hoods stores around the globe. We will keep you posted on the opening of the new store and can hopefully also give you a look inside soon.

WTAPS presents a camera bag in heavy-duty canvas, with carabiner fastening and sturdy hardware. The bag comes in two colorways – olive greens or black.

While we wait for the new Vans, Japanese favorite WTAPS has released some espadrille slippers for those of you in warmer climates. Atop the woven jute midsole sits a pair of heavy canvas straps with synthetic leather lining and a utility loop. Made in Spain. Firmament Berlin has stock.

WTAPS has released a solid looking canvas bag with rope handles from its Summer 2011 Collection. Branding is kept minimilist, with a small ‘WT’ print placed on the outer of the bag. It comes in two colorways and is perfect for your beach trips and short weekend trips this summer. It is now in stock at SlamJam.

Next season Vans Syndicate and WTAPS are re-releasing their popular “bones” series of footwear, this time in burgundy suede. Just like the black and navy blue collections, the Chukka, Sk8-Hi and Era all offered in suede with all over embroidery, and WTAPS labeling. Sure to be a popular release.

To carry their customers over from the ‘Who Dares Wins’ Spring/Summer 2011 Collection to the upcoming Fall/Winter 2011 line, Japanese brand WTAPS has released the second Sneak Collection of the season. The small capsule collection consists of the Vatos and Union plaid shirts, as well as the Jungle shorts. The shirts come with print details and the shorts with leopard patterns on the back.

Brdiging the gaps between their Spring/Summer 2011 and Fall/Winter 2011 Collections, Japanese brand WTAPS introduces the Sneak Collection. The small capsule line consists of the Furries shirt, both long- and short-sleeve, as well as a wrist band. The product is now available from Blackflag in Tokyo.

From its Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, Japanese brand WTAPS presents the Military Camera Bag. The bag comes with printed graphics on the upper and a WTAPS tag on the lining, which is made of neoprene to keep your camera save. In terms of size the bag will carry any DSLR and micro 4/3rd camera.
