Originally released March 28, 1995, Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, by late Wu-Tang Clan founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard, is a certified hip-hop classic. Fans are in for a special treat this year.

Scheduled for a November 22 release, the 2011 Get On Down Deluxe Reissue of Return to the 36 Chambers comes packaged in a commemorative box that includes the CD, a removable replica ODB food coupon card (which slips into a yellow leather CD wallet), a CD-sized sticker and a promotional poster. Today we can give you a first look at Rocksmith’s collab capsule with the Wu-Tang Brand.

Following the success of the Wu Massacre collaboration, Rocksmith graphically interprets the birth of the Wu Legend in a series of five tee shirts. They are delivered with a hoodie, knit headwear and a premium M65 jacket-all made in the USA. The Iron Flag M65 jacket, constructed of leather and melton wool, fuses the design elements of a M65 with a classic varsity. The C.R.E.A.M. hoodie features twill appliqued lettering with zig zag stitching. From the 36 Chambers tee to the most iconic cassette in hip hop, Raekwon’s Purple Tape, this collection is for the true fans, aficionados and crate diggers.

We take a look at some of the eye-catchers of the upcoming Rocksmith Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

Bagua teams up with The Wu Tang Brand to collaborate on their slip-on shoe. Designed by Oliver “Power” Grant and RZA, the low top sneaker comes in the classic Wu Tang black/yellow colorway with the upper being inspired by Ying-Yang. Only 360 pairs of the shoe were produced and they will be released April 14th in Paris at RZO Store and Pigalle.

The final product in Applebum and Wu-Tang Brand’s collaborative series is a skateboard deck featuring the photography of Danny Hastings. This same photo is seen on the “Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)” album cover. Scheduled for a February 6th release at select Applebum retailers.

Applebum continues to collaborate with the Wu-Tang Brand. This time they worked on some new New Era caps. The fitteds come in three colorways, featuring “Shaolin” and the Wu-Tang logo embroidered on the front. The lining and under-bill feature illustrations by Takashi Okazaki (creator of the Afro Samurai series) of important historical locations of Wu-Tang in New York City. The new caps will be released this Friday.

Someone by the name of Tom Caruana took Wu-Tang acapellas (from various solo and group releases) and threw them over beats made with samples of Beatles songs. Interesting.
