In their on-going 20th anniversary campaign, XLarge will be introducing the ‘President Label’. A series of collaborations put in place by the brand’s president, Mr. Minagawa, the idea is to be working with a set of traditional brands on classic items for the series. First up is the above A-2 Jacket with Toys McCoy. Limited to only 50 pieces, the jacket will be released towards the end of 2011.

We like the jacket, the idea behind the President Label, yet we are not sure many will be comfortable spending over 3′000 USD on an XLarge item.

For Fall 2011 XLarge worked with SSUR on a capsule collection. The line-up includes a t-shirt, a hoodie, as well as two caps. All items feature a skeleton version of the XLarge logos along with a SSUR signature. Classic material, that will be released in Japan on September 23rd, 2011.

Today we can preview the all new collaboration between XLarge and adidas Originals on the Campus 80s. The low top sneaker comes in a black suede colorway, featuring silver metallic 3 Stripes and heel tab. Aside from a banana print on the in-sole you will not find any other branding on this collaborative sneaker. It is now available from No. 74 Berlin.

In an interesting collaboration Tokyo bike shop W-Base has teamed up with XLarge and Disney on a series of t-shirts. Together they present the ‘Bike Ride Donald’ and ‘Bike Ride Goofy’ tees, each coming in overall three colorways. A release is scheduled for September 2nd, 2011, at XLarge stores and at W-Base.

XLarge continues to come out with one collaboration after another, after already presenting quite a few for its 30th anniversary over the last months. In their latest project, they got together with skater and artist Mark Gonzales, who designed a series of t-shirts for the brand. Each tee comes in several colorways and a release is set for August 12th, 2011.

XLarge teams up with motion picture film SUPER – The Crimson Bolt. Super offers James Gunn’s take on the superhero genre and stars Rainn Wilson as an average guy who takes on the superhero alter ego of the Crimson Bolt, after watching his wife, Liv Tyler, fall under the spell of a charming drug dealer, played by Kevin Bacon.

XLarge produced a capsule t-shirt collection for the release of the movie, which will drop on July 30th.

XLarge continues to celebrate their 20th anniversary with collaborations. This time they got together with artist Haze on a series of t-shirts, releasing in the next couple of weeks.

The Japanese branch of XLarge presents their new Holiday 2011 Collection. Compared to previous collections, this one seems a little more subtle and we appreciate that small change in direction. We do not mind some playfulness, but XLarge just seemed to bring back the same graphic over and over again, without giving them the necessary updated twist. The leopard pattern is a theme in the new line, being featuring on denim, sweaters and more.

Once again XLarge has teamed up with Sabre to work on some eyewear for Summer 2011. This time around they present the ‘No Control’ frame in overall three colorways, each coming with sun protecting lenses or with clear lenses. The eyewear will be released July 2011.

XLarge gets together with FreeStyle to collaborate on their Killer Shark digital watch. The watch comes in a multicolor version for Summer 2011, with branding placed on the case and on the strap. The watch will be released June 10th, 2011.
