Y-3 F/W ‘07 Footwear Collection

Here a presentation of the Y-3 Fall/Winter 2007 collection. Season after season the brand, an on-going collaboration between Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto, pushes further into the fashion market and we see the same tendencies in the new Fall/Winter 2007 collection. If you look at their first collection they were hardly wearable because they were so crazy with rhinestones, neon colors and prices that were simply unbelievably high – that completely changed. Concentration now is more on innovative features and materials, colors became much more subtle and basic.
Overall we like the new Y-3 collection, but at times it seems a little boring and more could be done in our opinion. On the other hand, if you are looking for a good evening sneaker, these might be just the right thing.
