XLarge has teamed up with Yamaha on the TY-S motorcyclce. Part of the premium XLarge President range, the classic looking motorcyclce comes with various design elements by the clothing brand. The bike will go on display at the XLarge Harajuku store from February 3rd to February 17th and people will be able to enter a lottery, with the winners being able to purchase the bike.

The Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha presented a really interesting new concept – the Y125 MOEGI. The retro styled motorcycle only ways 176 pounds, is very fuel efficient and thus only comes with a really small tank. Check out the video that Yamaha has released on the MOEGI concept here below.

French fashion house Hermes is not new to the world of motor powered vehicles. We have helicopters and cars in collaboration with the brand. Today we take a look at their one-off motorcycle in collaboration with Yamaha. This is the second time that the two companies have worked together.

“Hermes craftsmen were let loose to combine ‘mechanics and leather, to fulfil the dreams of motorcycles’. The idea was, according to Yamaha and Hermes, to “Reinforce the sculptural lines of this unique object and underline its emotional power.”

The result has the £20k machine’s non-mechanical parts dressed in Skipper buffalo leather, the main parts being the tank, seat, mudguards, headlight cover, exhaust silencers and grips.

Finishing touches include brushed aluminium mirrors, meter case and exhaust.”

Yamaha’s Giggle scooter takes its design inspiration from the 60s and has been an instant hit. Now Yamaha has worked with design agency ilovedust, who added a town to country story to the Giggle, in the form of an all-over design. Making sure that you have the complete look, ilovedust also gave an open face Bell helmet their twist. So far there is no word on the release of the scooter, so if you are interested it is best to hit up ilovedust.
