The Puma Yo! MTV Raps series continues this season – they introduce the Stepper. It comes in black and white, with wild patterns that we have already seen in the collection, around the ankle. Overall a solid release, and for the ones that like it a bit more subtle, the neon pink and green will not come out below your denim.

The Puma Yo! MTV Raps Stepper is now available at Crooked Tongues.

After presenting you the Puma Match out of the new Yo! MTV Raps collection, we give you here a detailed look at the First Round and RS100 that are also part of the line. Once again the black/white patterns appear also on these. A light green accent color has also been added, giving these a more fresh and summer look.

Puma Yo! MTV Raps continues this season and this time offers the Puma Match. It comes in two colorways with a vibrant pattern going all over the upper, as well as nice details on the heel and the lining.

Ask the hip-hop world’s major players about what inspired them to start making music, and they’re bound to drop the names: Fab 5 Freddy and Yo! MTV Raps. The iconic music show and its dynamic host truly revolutionized the genre and brought hip-hop into living rooms all over the country. To commemorate Yo!’’s 20^th anniversary and MTV’s renewal of the series as a hip-hop retrospective, PUMA® and VIMBY have teamed up to create a series of four online videos — hosted by Freddy himself, of course — available online at www.puma.com/yomtvraps and www.vimby.com.

In addition to sharing his own perspectives, Fab 5 Freddy talks with some of the scene’s most influential characters. Ricky Powell, Dr. Revolt, Fabel, and Walt “Clyde” Frazier, also known as the namesake for the classic PUMA Clyde sneaker, sound off about hip-hop in its infancy, their connections to the show, and more. PUMA, which first debuted limited edition PUMA X Yo! MTV Raps footwear styles 2 years ago, has also just launched new Yo! MTV Raps-branded takes on some of PUMA’s heritage styles. Find them for a limited time at select PUMA Concept Stores and sneaker boutiques.

Last week we already presented you a new Yo! MTV Raps pack consisting of a Puma Suede, First Round and RS-100. Thanks to SneakerFreaker we can now give you a look at the Puma Match, which comes as part of the collection in several colorways.
The Puma Match’s from this collection will come in limited quantities to Footlocker stores and to Puma stores as of April 15th. Also we give you a look at another colorway of the Puma Suede that will be dropping as part of this project. More pics after the jump.

After first releasing two Yo! MTV Raps collections last year, Puma continues to push the theme. Here is a first look at the upcoming styles. The latest pack consists of a First Round, Suede Patent and the RS-100.
Both the Suede Patent and the RS-100 come in special colors and materials, while not going too crazy. The First Round is definitely very special and will be the kind of sneaker that you love or hate.
The pack will be released on the 15th of April. Check out all three in detail after the jump.

Major Threat has released their latest New Era Caps. This time they present wool caps with a large “Yo MTV Raps” style embroidery on the front. The cap comes in four colorways and is now available at Frank’s Chop Shop.

Puma continues the countdown to the Puma x Yo! MTV Raps collection launch this coming weekend by releasing another video. Again under the “Back In The Days” theme, this time on Ed & Dre collection!

We have reported extensively about the soon to drop Puma x Yo! MTV Raps collections. Now Puma launched a website dedicated to the initiative. From now until the launch date, September 15th, they will update the site with new videos. Now they already have a Big Daddy Kane backstage video on there. Check it out…
