In addition to Complex’s Clipse x KAWS collaboration, they did a second cover featuring Young Jeezy, with illustration by Philly graf kingpin ESPO. As Complex puts it, “both artists are known for flipping American capitalism on it’s head, so the partnership was a natural fit.” Again, the issue hits stands on October 6, but you can check out the full interview and a behind the scenes video now. Def Jam continues to celebrate their 25th anniversary this year and will be presenting a large sneaker pack in collaboration with adidas later this year. The pack consists of the Forum, Nizza, Samba, Stan Smith and Superstar, each coming in a variety of colorways. On top of collaborations with the Def Jam label, adidas also presents collaborations with Red Man, Young Jeezy and Ghostface as part of the pack. Today the new “Circulate” video by Young Jeezy debuted and is the next single out of his recent “The Recession” album.
Shot by Terry Richardson at New York’s five-star, hotel Plaza Athenee, “Circulate” contains contributions by Gabriel Hart, who documented Young Jeezy during the historic Presidential Inauguration weekend in Washington, DC. During this weekend, Belvedere Vodka and Young Jeezy announced a creative collaboration which includes new music, videos, behind-the-scenes clips, a national tour and more from Young Jeezy’s 2009 projects.
