Yuketen, known for their superior handmade shoes, presents its new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Today we highlight the Country Ranger from the line, which comes in two interesting animal pattern versions this season. The toe box comes in leopard and zebra pattern horse hair. Both come with a leather mid-sole and Crepe outer sole.

Yuketen is the brain child of Yuki Matsuda, who works with Artisans across the US to recreate American footwear classics. The Maine Guide boot is a reproduction of the moccasin boots worn by hunters America’s North East, updated with a Vibram sole for added comfort and durability. The strap boot also features a leather strap and patterned blanket wool panels.

For Spring/Summer 2012 Yuketen presents some of their most popular styles with a rattlesnake upper. The Chukka, slip-on and loafer all feature mostly rattlesnake skin uppers, complemented with a bit of brown leather, resulting in an overall solid look.

The latest Yuketen delivery has fallen into Triads. The new Maine Guide Strap Shoe is a highlight, similar in style to the classic Maine Guide Boot except it has been produced with a lower cut, ideal for summer. Gorgeous leathers on this one.

Shot by Alana Paterson, Danish store Norse showcases their Spring/Summer 2011 offering via a new lookbook. Nanamica, adidas ObyO, Acne, HAN, Monitaly, Yuketen, Pendleton and of course their very own Norse Projects are represented in the lookbook shoot.

Yuketen is a line of classic hand-made, US-made footwear by Yuki Matsuda. One of the more eye-catching releases of the season is this chukka boot with a panelled, multicolour suede upper design that’s completely different on each foot. The right shoe features a red, orange, navy and beige patchwork, while the left features a combination of blue, white and beige. LN-CC’s got stock.

Yuketen presents their Country Loafer Shoes in Chicago Brown. Simply a great looking leather shoe, sewn on natural crepesole and crafted in Canada. Available at Tres Bien.

Once again Nigel Cabourn has worked with Yuketen to produce some quality footwear as part of his Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Mid top and high top boots, mixing premium brown leather with beautiful wool fabrics make up the small capsule collection.

A beautiful boot comes from a collaboration between Yuketen and Beams. They worked on a high rise boot in a brown premium leather colorway. The fusion of moc inspired boot with wingtip accents is probably what makes these so special. All in all a very clean looking shoe with some fantastic details. Look out for a release soon.

After just showing you the Red Brown Quilt Hunt Boots from Yuki Matsuda’s Fall 2010 Yuketen collection, we now present the Brindle make up. “The Hunt Boot is an iconic Yuketen style, with the legendary double ring crepe sole, and the removable kilte.
