We reported and reviewed heavily the Nike Sportswear Make Something! Zine series. The last day was hosted by photographer and film maker Ari Marcopoulus.

“For the last day of the Make Something workshops, a group of some very lucky teens got to work closely with Ari Marcopoulos to create their very own Zine. The group along with the help of photographer Lele Saveri, had a chance to explore New York while taking photographs creating a memorable day for all involved.”

Once again New York graffiti crew IRAK gets together with Alife. This time they beyond apparel and present a capsule collection and zine for Summer 2010.

“ALIFE is proud to unveil IRAK for THE ALIFE, INC. A capsule collection designed by Kunle, president of IRAK, the legendary New York graffiti crew.

The collection is made of 3 T-shirts, each packaged with a stress cube and a key ring; and zine featuring a selection of photographs from Kunle’s extensive personal collection.”

The collection will release in North America on June 6th and worldwide on June 13th.

Once again old friends Alife and IRAK got together for summer 2010. Together they worked on a series of t-shirts, as well as a zine, which brings together images taken by the Irak crew between 1999 and 2006. Both the t-shirts and the zine are now available from colette.

Nieves has published a new zine by photographer Ari Marcopoulos. The 16 page zine comes in an edition of 100 and will be released at the Nieves exhibitions in Tokyo this month.

Originally created for the Parra Ice Cream Truck that toured LA, the “Drawings & Studies” zine by Dutch artist Parra can now also be purchased from Arkitip for 10 USD.

We have always been fans of the Fashematics equation series and now they are releasing the Fashematical Zine.

“To commemorate my 50th fashematics equation (I think I’m actually up to 55 or so, but who’s really counting?), with the help of IzRock Pressings, I created this zine of my favourite looks from the Spring/Summer 2010 runway shows. FASHEMATICAL is a collection of illustrations reinterpreting the stars of the catwalk as part of either a horde of zombies or an army of robots, hell-bent on taking planet Earth for themselves. Featuring clothes by Prada, Bernhard Willhelm, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Chanel and more…”

The zine consists of 20 pages in black/white, comes in a signed and numbered edition of 200 and goes for 10 AUD. You can purchase it here.
