We present you the latest addition to the Zune Originals Artist Series. Once again they managed to get some prominent names on board to grace the music player with their artwork. Zune worked with Dalek, Gemini and Emil Kozak in this latest run.

Zune Originals has announced a new series of artist driven editions of the MP3 player. New artists include Aya Kato and Matt W. Moore. They join longstanding Zune affiliates Sam Flores and Kenzo Minami in providing "tattoos" for your Zune. Pickup a new Zune from the online store and then choose your favorite design for engraving.

New Era and Zune entered in a partnership this year and will in the following monthswork on a series of projects. Included in the partnership is a podcast channel on Zune Marketplace. The channel will feature original programming including 5-7 minute segments on fashion, entertainment, music and sports. There will be 28 webisodes that will feature exclusive collaborations with celebrity artists and musicians of various musical genres.  Two webisodes are set to be released each month beginning on July 22.
Also they will be working on limited edition caps together. To celebrate the launch of each limited-edition cap, New Era and Zune will host quarterly release events at one of New Era’s Flagship stores or at Zune L.A., a new venue created to bring the Zune brand experience to life through creative expressions of art, music and technology.
The kick-off event took place on July 8th at Zune L.A. and coincided with the launch of the Travis Barker limited-edition cap, that we present you here. Barker’s limited-edition cap is also part of New Era’s exclusive CAPTURE THE FLAG® (CTF) collection.
True to Barker’s roots, the cap features a drum pad pattern inspired by an MP3 drum machine. The cap is graphite and black and is finished off with a black satin lining. 150 caps were released on the market on July 10th and are priced at $125 (USD).

A couple of weeks ago we showed you the Zune x Orchard Street collaboration. Now the Zune camp got together with Seattle based Goods store. The outcome of the collaboration are Goods branded Zune players. They come in a 8GB and 80GB sizes and are each limited to 10 pieces. Via GotZune.

Here we have a very special project to present you. Orchard Street has teamed up with Zune to make the Watermelon Zune Pack. This release, limited to 40 Packs, consists of a Windbreaker, a matching Watermelon T-shirt and a Customized Orchard Street Zune device.
The Orchard Street Watermelon Zune device comes complete with Zune Software, Headphones and Adapters. The Windbreaker features an inside pocket to house the Zune and an eyelet opening located at the neck of the jacket to allow for easy listening, while sporting.

The packs will be exclusively sold at Reed Space NY, Laced Boston, Shoe Gallery in Miami, and Orchard Street’s Online Store. Packs will retail at $300.
To commemorate the release of the Watermelon Zune Pack (10/8/07), High Snobiety is holding a week long pre-release online contest that ends Friday October 5th. The grand prize is a complete Watermelon Zune Pack – a Watermelon Zune device with additional content provided by 5 of the top Club Djs in the US (DJ Cassidy, DJ Jus Ske, DJ Reach, Stretch Armstrong and DJ Vice), the windbreaker and the t-shirt. Second prize will be 2 Watermelon T- Shirts.
