Today we give you detailed look of our two favorite sneakers from the adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2009 David Beckham Collection – the ZX8000 and the Marathon TR Mid. In conjunction with James Bond from Undefeated, David Beckham presents a timeless and casual sportswear collection this season.

A pioneering running shoe design, first introduced in the late ’80s, this variation on the legendary adidas ZX 8000 uses a superior material blend of open mesh and rich suede leather for high quality without compromising the famed lightweight feel. Completed with a DB signature lace jewel, DB signature sock liner and soft leather lining, the strong use of colour makes for an eyecatching essential. Whatever the weather and regardless of terrain, this is the ultimate mix of retro and rugged styling.

The mid-cut version of the classic Originals Marathon Trainer features waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, reflective 3-Stripe tapes and a hidden zip pocket on the tongue, finished with a DB signature sock liner. We get a first look at some footwear from the adidas Originals by Originals David Beckham range. The ZX8000 is part of the collection and will be coming in a variety of colorways. adidas will be releasing their ZX7000, ZX8000 and ZX9000 in three very solid colorways for Spring 2009. The balance between classic looks, yet giving them a fresh make-over, has worked out nicely on these. All three are now available for pre-order at Wellgosh.
