Editor's Notes: Summer is winding to a close, Fall/Winter collections are hitting storefronts quicker than you can say DONDA, and global weather is more unpredictable than ever. Despite all of that, open-toe slide season is just getting started.

The adidas YEEZY SLIDE is – if anything – divisive. Much like a majority of the YEEZY footwear lineup, the unconventional design of the slides has split opinions. Whether you like them or not, prior releases have proven their popularity.

Thanks to the YEEZY September release calendar, fans who were unable to secure a pair of their own from previous drops will get several more chances. Part of the slides' popularity is thanks to the wearability of neutral colorways released so far, setting them apart from some of the more daring slip-ons on the market.

Things are set to change at YEEZY, with the introduction of the "Green Glow" iteration. Unlike its predecessors, this pair throws caution to the wind and turns the saturation up to maximum. Currently, the selection of colorways for the adidas YEEZY SLIDE is quite limited, so hopefully, this bold addition is a sign of more bold options to come.

If you're looking to make a statement while staying cozy, look no further.
