Here comes another upcoming high profile collaboration, this time Boston based Bodega got together with Saucony to work on the Courageous TR, actually overall three of them.

The Bodega x Saucony Courageous TR Pack takes its design inspiration from 90's cross country kicks. Inspired by high school uniforms and a revamped Courageous TR silhouette, the sneakers come with 3M, ballistic nylon and premium leathers. Also all three sneakers feature a striped Bodega logo going over the entire back heel. Via Vapors Sneaker Issue.

It looks like we will soon be seeing yet another collaboration between Converse and Undefeated. This time the two worked on the "Poorman's Weapon".

The concept of the Undefeated x Converse Poorman's Weapon is based off of an Air Force MA-1 flight jacket, complete with removable velcro patches. The shoe is made of the same nylon flight satin used on the MA-1 jackets with a bright orange canvas interior, which pilots would be able to turn inside out to be seen. On top of a Chuck Taylor outer sole and a Weapon upper, the shoe also features waxed laces and sports a vulcanized Undefeated strike logo on the sole. Via Vapors Sneaker Issue.

There is no set release date so far, but the execution is impressive and the outcome great!

RockersNYC and Street Carnage got together to produce a limited edition tee in the spirit of the early 80's hardcore scene, featuring a never before used photo of Minor Threat.

This collaboration t-shirt is only on sale at both the RockersNYC and Street Carnage webstores now.

Heron Preston, a name that should sound familiar to most of you, has published his first book entitled "The Young And The Banging" - The Official "Unofficial" 2008 Downtown NYC Yearbook.

"Inspired by both the traditional American high school yearbook and Ezra Petronio’s book "Bold and Beautiful" of Self Service, 15 girls were invited to partner as co-creators to make a downtown NYC yearbook through artistic collaboration. They were asked to highlight the young and creative people around them through Polaroid photography to act as their class photo and given spreads in the book to design in a way that best represented the lifestyle and creativity of those people."

The contributors include local favorites Tracy Antonopoulos, Sage Grazer, Rachel Smith, Philippa Price, Nicole Saldana, Louise Erhard, Laura Gerster, Katia Hakko, Kate Brien, Kathy Lo, Julia Tepper, Dana Veraldi, Carly Mark, Anna Skladmann and Amanda Merten.

While at Project we previewed the Spring 2009 footwear line from Gravis. Among the highlights are some clean and simple mock ups of the Chuck. Some sharp colors for the Capella and Fulton models are also on tap.

As an exclusive homage for Roger Federer's birthday, Nike got together with artistcollective Plus 41 to create a special Nike Sportswear Flywire Windrunner, along with some other product.

Nike Sportswear official launch took place on 08.08.08 too; as a homage to one of the best and most well known tennis players in the world, Nike created a very special Gift Pack in collaboration with the Swiss artist collective ‘+41’. Here we present you the windrunner and the longsleeve shirt out of the pack.

What makes Roger Federer gift pack pretty unique are the exclusive graphic symbols created by +41 collective, showcasing the most important moments of his life as well as the biggest success stories of his career: for example there is a double merging ‘W’, which stands for his first Grand –Slam victory in Wimbledon in 2003. A perspective tennis court showed as an arrow with a crown on its peak, demonstrates his way to the long-lasting number one of the Tennis world class. And a symbol made of three tennis balls, lying on top of each other is the symbol for the family. Further there is a graphic of four swung into each other hearts, which symbolizes Roger Federer’s love for his girlfriend Miroslava (Mirka) Vavrinec. In total ten of these graphics decorate Windrunner and Tee.

the Nike Sportswear special Gift Pack was handed over to Roger Federer at the launch event of the Nike Sportswear Store opening in New York City, 21^st Mercer Street. This moment was captured by + 41 and will be displayed in an installation in the exhibition space of the Berlin 0808-store (Münzstraße 20, Berlin) in September. More on that soon.

Announced a couple of months ago, the new A.R.C. x Penfield Wind Breakers are now available at Alife stores around the globe as well as A.R.C. NYC. Here we give you a first look.

The wind breakers will be coming in overall three colorways - red, black and purple. The lining comes on all three jackets in red, which makes for a nice contrast. Also the jackets feature a large size tonal A.R.C. logo print on the front, which looks great. Also you find the A.R.C. logo on the zipper and on the inside tag. The Penfield logo appears just like on all their pieces on the chest.

The A.R.C. x Penfield Wind Breakers turned out really nice and will be a perfect companion in the rainy Fall days. The jacket is available at Alife stores as well as on Rivingtonclub.com and go for 110 USD.

First pieces of the Resonate Fall/Winter 2008 collection have started being delivered. The first release includes t-shirts, denim, as well as a couple of accessories, including knitted beanies and studded cross pendants. Our favorite pieces have to be the shirts and the denim in the new line. The t-shirts are a little over the top for our taste.

A while back we gave you a first look at one of the most interesting collaborations of the year - Carhartt with Vans. As we get closer to the release, which takes place on September 3rd, we present you some newdetailed images of the Chukka and the Half Cab, which are the result of this project.

The concept of the Vans x Carhartt cooperation is simple. Friends put together the most iconic elements from their brand and combine them into one. The result is a unique and limited collaboration reflecting the style and timelessness of each brand.
Carhartt has a long tradition in the skilled trades and it stands for innovative design and exceptional standards of quality, durability and comfort. The use of canvas is legendary for this brand and so it seemed natural to choose Carhartt’s own canvas in the customary colour Carhartt brown for this collaboration.

Within the Vans collections there are a host of styles that fit Carhartt’s demand, so choosing the right styles was simple. It had to be something casual but at the same time special - the Chukka and the Half Cab are exactly that. The Chukka can be worn on any occasion and always looks smart and the Half Cab combines superior design with the skate spirit from the 90’s, when Carhartt first set up their office in Europe. Both styles have the revolutionary cupsole featuring the ultimate combination of boardfeel, grip, support and cushioning to meet the demands of today’s skateboard pioneers. 

The limited collaboration between Vans and Carhartt reflects the great synergy between the two brands and is only available at selected Vans and Carhartt stores across Europe from September this year.

The launch will take place in the morning of the 3rd of September at the Carhartt and Vans store in Paris and Berlin. Special work by British artist French will be shown in all Carhartt stores and a special windows display will be realized by French for the Carhartt and Vans stores in Paris and Berlin.

The shoes will only be available at selected Carhartt stores in Europe including London, Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Madrid, Barcelona, Lisboa, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Zürich.

The signature grey jersey has become an emblem for Gap and thus Colette has commissioned several french brands to create their classics using the grey fleece.

The latest one to be released is the Longchamp Pliage Bag, an all-time classic. The Colette x Gap x Longchamp Pliage bag is now available in the Colette online store for 90 Euros.
