Perks and Mini

WHAT IS PERKS AND MINI(P.A.M.)?

Cutting-edge streetwear and lifestyle brand Perks And Mini (P.A.M.) was established in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia by married power couple Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey. Sharing a background in fine art, fashion and graphic design, the couple meet on the streets and the name originates from Hollenbach and Toohey’s graffiti tags “Perks” and “Mini”.

Based in Paris since 2015, the multi-disciplinary brand counts everything from music, nightlife and art to its repertoire, but foremost gaining a lot of traction worldwide for its strong graphic design and fun, carefree approach to fashion – which has been labelled as “refined yet unpretentious”.

Putting out clever T-shirts, sweatwear, hats, and jackets – with collaborations involving a whole range of artists, fashion labels, galleries and stores at its core – the duo has been described ”as one of the strongest fashion designers in the world right now” by the director of London’s Tate Modern.

Some high-profile collaborations include Nike, Japanese label Undercover, Bathing Ape’s Sk8thing and the late American artist Mike Kelley. More recently, the label teamed up with Converse for a Chuck Taylor All-Star and a cold weather capsule collection including puffer jackets, trousers and T-shirts.

The iconic – now sadly defunct – Parisian fashion store Colette was the first to snap up P.A.M.’s inaugural collection, and today the brand stocks at some of the most innovative stores across the world, including Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, London and Moscow.
