I've been working on multiple brands these days, some of which you might be surprised by. I'm going to let them remain nameless for now but wanted to give you guys a sneak peek of some things I have coming up for next year (besides a ton of Reebok stuff I did before I left that will be released over the next year as well).

Oddly enough, I've been working on a lot more womens product as of late. Most of my career has been spent designing for the male shoe head. So even though it doesn't come as naturally to me, like designing for myself, it's been a nice change. The shoe above is something I was finishing off in China a month ago. I won't name the brand, although they wouldn't mind me sharing. I just enjoy being elusive.

So I've been neglecting this column for the last few weeks. I've just been insanely busy. My work and travel schedule has been wearing me down.

So what have i been up to? Beside running the store and showroom I've been doing a lot of design and consultancy as well. It's like a full time job on top of a full time job. Anyway, enough complaints! I have been mixing some fun into my hectic schedule as well, of course.

Keds threw a great party at The Box in the LES here in NY a couple weeks ago to launch their new ad campaign. It's a dinner theater type club that, on a normal night, has a vaudeville-esque/ burlesque show. They did a special presentation of their normal show hosted by Misha Barton, of the OC and whatever else you People magazine readers would only know about. There were tons of press and celebs there and it was a good show with good drinks on the house. What else could you ask for? Check out pics of Mischa Barton at the party (if you care).

Ok, so it's not really Black Friday, or even Friday for that matter. But we received such a great response to our BF Sale the first time around we decided to do it again, only it's new and improved.
