Craig G told classic stories about strip clubs in Detroit, Proof and how KRS-1 does not fly.

KRS-1 is taking a boat to go to Europe. And to think I am scared to fly...wow!

I think I would be more worried about shit happening on a big ass boat for 3 days.

Ok..so back to my week in Hip Hop! On to Thursday....

1st it was off to the Highline Ballroom to see one of my favorite bands. The Mutha Fucking Roots!

As normal the fucking KILLED shit with a short set....for some reason I really dig the short sets.

What I dig even more is taking photos of these dudes. Every time I work with them I get something

Swizz Beats had the best set of the night

and the best kicks

Kanye came out to battle Swizz Beats..beat for beat, I think SB won.

Young Joc had the best chain. That shit was so ridiculous.

It RAINED damn near the whole time. I got soaked!

Young Jeezy was not a asshole this time around.

Some other things:

I almost had my face melted by Diddys fireworks/explosions. Long story. I’m still pissed!

Groupies rock. You shoulda seen some of that shit..very funny.

Lil Kim is......YUCK! I am surprised she did not melt in the rain.

Diddy had like 20-25 fuckers walking with him everywhere he went. I think he even has someone hold it when he takes a leak.

Mims is a cool dude

I didn’t see any rapper beef.

All the rappers I ran into were surprisingly cool.

I got really wet...yeah I know I said that already but damn! It was raining hard. I can’t believe people stayed as long as they did.

All in all I would give this show a B+.

Hip hop is not dead. It just kinda sucks right now....somewhere in this show there is the next Jay Z. I even think the future RnB king played there last night...Chris Brown.
