Wood Wood F/W 2008 Collection

highsnobiety - Wood Wood F/W 2008 Collection

The summer is almost over and the Fall/Winter collections are slowly starting to getinto stores. We take a look at Danish label Wood Wood. They are for us one of the labels that best bridges so called streetwear and high end fashion, creating their very own look. The market has in recent months seen many new brands, but Wood Wood is one of the founding fathers of it.

Their new Fall/Winter 2008 collection shows that once again. Smart mixes of cotton pants, knitwear, t-shirts, caps and complicated cut & sew items. As usual they introduce some seasonal colors that make them very recognizable.

Have a closer look at the upcoming collection after the jump.

Vans x Jeff Grosso Legend Pack Feat. Jim Phillips

highsnobiety - Vans x Jeff Grosso Legend Pack Feat. Jim Phillips

Vans introduce the Jeff Grosso Legends pack, featuring artwork by Jim Phillips from the Santa Cruz archives. The collaboration between Grosso and Vans was a natural, as Jeff has ridden the shoes for decades. The pack consists of a Sk8 Hi and an Old School. Both sneakers in the pack feature Jim Phillips artwork out of the Santa Cruz archives.

"Jeff's the gnarliest wear-tester our designers have ever sat down with, bringing natural solutions to already great classics, the Sk8 Hi and the Old Skool. Improvements include – “lace saver” eyerow construction, vintage pattern details, notched heel in Sk8 Hi, dura-cap toe and ollie areas, and full-length polyurethane foam footbeds. These shoes represent Grosso’s love and respect for skateboarding."

The pack is now available at Japanese Vans stores.
