And just like that, we’re back for round two. But first things first, can we all just pause for a moment of silence in honor of weekend one? From long-awaited reunions (No Doubt, Blur, plus The Fugees) that triggered all the ‘90s nostalgia to an overload of show-stopping festival fashion on and off-stage—weekend one outdid itself and owes us absolutely nothing.

Even the heat couldn’t keep the crowds from coming out for the sold-out opening weekend—and fans rode the post-festival high from Sunday night’s epic close all the way to weekend two. Performers and attendees from across the globe have descended upon Indio once more to experience the magic for the first time or to be enchanted by the desert vibes all over again.

No mere second act, Coachella’s grand finale promises another three days of unforgettable music and spontaneous memories that will last a lifetime. Those of us with festival FOMO can catch all the action on YouTube’s official livestreams—and stay tuned for a new slate of candid portraits of your favorite artists, shot at the YouTube x Highsnobiety Photo Studio right behind the main stage. Transporting guests back to the quintessential ‘90s bedroom, the studio evokes the nostalgic childhood spaces where many performers discovered their earliest musical influences and inspirations. Check in here throughout weekend two to see the next round of stunning snaps.

DAY THREE - SUNDAY, APRIL 21

Coachella 2024 has officially seen its last sunset. Thankfully, the festival’s grand finale made parting a little easier, as Sunday’s stacked roster of sets helped weekend two end on a high note. Day three was for the devotees—as festival goers and closing acts were ready to make every last minute amongst the swaying palm trees count before they waved the desert goodbye.

A jam-packed day at the YouTube x Highsnobiety Photo Studio began with a visit from pop powerhouse Bebe Rexha. The “I’m Good (Blue)” singer stunned in dramatic Y2K-era Carrera sunnies and impeccable glam, posing like a pro for her portrait. Next up was Olivia Dean in a vacay-worthy summer ensemble. The London lyricist buzzed with excitement for her weekend two performance, sharing that her pre-show ritual involves sipping honey-lemon tea and listening to classical music. Brazil’s LUDMILLA—whose set featured a recorded intro from Queen Bey herself—also stopped by the studio’s nostalgic setup. Other guests included Barcelona rapper BB trickz and always humorous electronic artist Marc Rebelliet (aka Loop Daddy).

Once more, Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean had a mini-Fugees reunion as they joined Hill’s son YG Marley for his energizing set at the Coachella stage. Post-performance, Jean came into the photo studio to sit under the lights and snap some effortlessly cool pics. He was all smiles about the set with Marley, whom he jovially playfully calls his “little nephew.”

Making the studio even brighter was Coco Jones. The 2024 Grammy Award winner teased that her highly anticipated debut album will arrive before the end of the year—but fans will get to hear a single in just a few days. Rounding out the day at the studio were Tolou, rocking her signature blond micro braids, and a cappella marvels The Joy, who opened for Doja Cat.

Despite being the hottest of the festival’s six days, attendees braved the heat for several more stellar performances from the likes of J Balvin, Barry Can’t Swim, and DJ Snake with surprise guest 50 Cent. Headliner Doja Cat closed out the festival with a worthy finale, delaying the onset of those pesky post-festival blues for one more starry night. ‘Til next year, Indio—it’s been real. If next year seems too far out, you can relive all of your favorite Coachella moments here.

DAY TWO - SATURDAY, APRIL 20

By the penultimate day of Coachella, artists and attendees have gotten in the swing of things. Sets from weekend one have been refined to make the performances even better. Forget winding down—on day two, things were still heating up.

Kicking things off at the YouTube x Highsnobiety Photo Studio was Turkish DJ and producer Mahmut Orhan, who released his hypnotic debut album Pangea last month. Rising singer-songwriter Eddie Zuko and Belgian DJ Charlotte De Witte followed soon after, posing for their portraits and escaping the 96-degree heat. British indie-rock band The Last Dinner Party also came through the space just 30 minutes before the riveting reprise of their theatrical weekend one performance, serving their signature ethereal style—adapted for the desert, of course. The final guest of the day was Toronto’s NAV. Dripped out from head to toe in Chrome Hearts, from sunglasses and a leather hoodie to matching leather pants and Converse, the rap phenom proved that high temps should never discourage a good fit.

Taking the stage and the Internet by storm on Saturday: Kevin Abstract and surprise guest Lil Nas X, premiering their new collab “Tennessee.” Sublime, fronted by Jakob Nowell, somehow topped their incredible opening set with a sizzling sunset jam. Another standout was Ice Spice, who brought the East Coast out west during her irresistible Sahara stage show—complete with a graffitied NYC subway train—and announced on Instagram that her next single, “Gimmie A Light,” will be dropping May 10. Lastly, the rave crowd found an oasis at the always unpredictable Do Lab stage, swaying under a sea of fabric flowers.

Let’s see what the festival gods have in store for day 3! Be sure to check back here tomorrow at 12 PM EST for the deets on all that unfolded during Coachella's 2024 final act.

DAY ONE - FRIDAY, APRIL 19

Next-gen DJ and producer HoneyLuv set the tone for the day with her infectious energy and alluring smile. While sitting for her portrait, the emerging talent chatted gamely about her recent move from LA to London and shared that she “surrounds herself with good vibes” before taking the stage—a fact evinced by the extra-pumped up crowds at her electrifying house-music sets. Fellow DJ TroyBoi also stopped in for a candid capture, followed by rising indie rock band late night drive home.

Next up under the photo studio’s glaring spotlight was jazz legend Norah Jones, fresh off a surprise duet of her ‘00s hit “Don’t Know Why” with Sabrina Carpenter during the latter’s sparkly set. The inimitable singer-songwriter dazzled in a glittering shawl, white dress, and cowboy boots as she detailed how Carpenter invited her to perform at her Coachella debut. The final talent to grace the studio on Friday: Victoria Monét, who recently nabbed the Grammy for Best New Artist at the 2024 Awards, among other wins. The radiant Jaguar II songstress was a vision in a silver-and-white dress featuring bold safety-pin embellishments.

Beyond the studio’s walls, 3D hologram Hatsune Miku brought the festival into the future—the digital age, to be precise—with a history-making performance. Plus, French electronic duo Justice managed to drum up even more hype than during Weekend One with their crowd-pleasing set. The dust may have settled on another thrilling day in the desert, but there’s still more to come.
