To christen their introduction to the market properly the newly launched premium fitted headwear company, Official, has collaborated with well-known skate and streetwear brands FTC, High Snobiety (that’s right, we are part of the launch as well) and Fatlace to drop the brand like it’s hot.
Official® will be available at finer boutiques worldwide and beginning April 15th, 2007 a “one-time” limited drop program goes into effect which will keep a constant flow of limited product to its retailers. “New fiyah every two weeks will keep creativity flowing and consumers hyped and anxious for the releases to hit boutique shelves,” states Matt Conley, Official’s retail marketing manager.

Official’s cross-label program goes into effect immediately and offers brands and stores an opportunity to utilize a supremely engineered fit with the perfect amount of depth, crown shape and structural quality. Collaborators will also be able to take advantage of Official’s innovative processes and techniques including flocking, silkscreening, perforation, sourcing, 3D embroidery and all-over embroidery.
The Crown of Laurel is the Official® flagship hat style that will carry the brand into select boutiques worldwide. The “head” hosts a baseball cap shape featuring current trend adjustments (depth, straight visor) without straying from tradition and heritage that makes the baseball hat such an iconic component to American culture.
It’s great to be part of this project and of the first series of caps. The cap that you see here above is the HighSnobiety colllaboration, that features an all over swiss cross pattern and detailed references to Switzerland and HighSnobiety. Also there are more customizations under the visor. Our collaboration cap, along with the others will be exclusively released via Digital Gravel.
Check out detailed pics of the other styles after the jump.
