From the ground up

In comparison to many other companies we come across and especially competitors to Nike, we still have to say that they do most of the time the best job in terms of marketing and paying attention to the details. But only most of the time.
The Post Gazette just launched an article about the launch this week of the Nike Untold Truth Josh Gibson sneakers . They explain that the launch went completely wrong, the message was not at all received by store owners and customers. They also explain in detail design mistakes that should not happen on a shoe with such historic references and a lot of other things.
On one side its understandable that people got upset, but it also seems a little too complicated to lunch such a sneaker.
