Where the runway meets the street

Fred Perry continues to introduce interesting collaborations under the umbrella of their “Blank Canvas” range.  This time they got together with high fashion designer David Saunders, who runs his own brand under the name of David David.
David Saunders is a fine artist and former Chelsea graduate. He began his career as an assistant to celebrated artist Tracey Emin, specialising in graphic work before going on to design his own high end fashion menswear ranges, and his work sits in Dover Street Market. While David David’s own line traditionally consists of hand-painted kaleidoscopic garments, for Blank Canvas this is the first time he has used screen printing to produce the garments.
He designed 3 poloshirts using the classic Fred Perry polo as a canvas. They are now available at Triads.
