Previewed at New York Fashion Week, the latest Spring/Summer Collection from Antonio Azzuolo for 2009 “draws its inspiration from the iconic symbols of classic men’s dress —with a personal interpretation that is derived from Antonio Azzuolo’s diverse background— elements of the American prep school look, French chic and Italian sartorial expertise are all intertwined to create a refined collection of tailored clothing and casual sportswear.  Other inspiration comes from mod groups such as the Small Faces, The Kinks and The Rolling Stones.” Clearly the rock influence of the British pre-mod continues to persude designers into re-thinking what the establishment is.
