Five years in the making, the Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing Retrospective opens at Mass Moca this coming Sunday, November 16. The project is a collaborative effort between Yale University Art Gallery and the Williams College Museum of Art. Since April, over 60 artists have touched almost a mile of walls to create the new galleries. LeWitt, the “master of conceptualism,” designed the walls prior to his passing last year. The opening marks the largest assembledge of LeWitt wall drawings, and a 25% expansion of Mass Moca’s gallery space.

If interested, Mass Moca’s website features a working in progress site for the project.
