Based in Sydney, James Jirat Patradoon is an illustrator exploring notions of fantasy hyper-masculinity. His work is inspired by a full range of popular culture outlets; for example manga, wrestling, bike gangs, and movie vilans. On June 25, 2009, a solo showing of Patradoon’s work entitled New and Old Works opens at Sydney’s Saatchi and Saatchi Gallery. This will bring together never before seen experimental work and some of Patradoon’s more well known efforts.
