Woolrich Woolen Mills drives deeper into the American way with a focus on California’s surf heritage for their Spring/Summer 2010 collection. “The Surfing sub culture embraced classic California clothing brands that  were originally designed for outdoor sports like camping and hiking. Some of the California brands were intended for Surfers themselves when they were off [their] boards…The key piece of the collection is the Carlsbad Jacket, inspired by vintage outdoor jackets of the 1960’s. The fabric is a water resistant durable cotton poly poplin that was considered the best fabric for the outdoors.”
