Your Bright Future is a new exhibition at LACMA presenting the work of 12 Korean artists born between 1953 and 1972. These artists came to age in changing times, through political turmoil to increasing freedom. The focus on the ephemeral nature of life and identity, often with a humorous slant.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the museum has worked with Young-Hae Chang Heavy Industries to commission six works exclusively for the web. These can be seen HERE, in addition to a number of great digital shorts.

Above is “We Are Happy” (2004) by Bach Yiso. Visit LACMA to see the on-site portion of Your Bright Future until September 20, 2009.
