On view since late June, Dan Graham: Beyond surveys the Illinois-born artist’s career from the 1960s to today. One of contemporary arts most influential figures, Graham works through a variety of media – from photography to performance. He has collaborated with musicians like Sonic Youth and produced architectural models. These ventures are representative of the range of material spanning Graham’s career.

The exhibition, which is the first retrospective in the United States, covers each stage of Graham’s development and places each in full context. Up until October 11, 2009 at the Whitney. The museum also has a full range of images and video to explore online.
