The second exhibition at Paris’ 12Mail Gallery will feature the work of New York-based illustrator Elizabeth Arkhipoff. Arkhipoff primarily works in the fields of music and fashion, creating posters and magazine editorial work for a range of clients. For the exhibition she created a fictional band, Sport Hit Paradise, and asked 10 international musicians to produce original music. Arkhipoff created the song titles and gave general direction, then used the resulting recordings as inspiration for drawings, collages and posters. The music is available as a download and in a limited print run at the exhibition opening. Check for track-list and participating musicians.
