DJ Clark Kent of NYC was tasked to create a collection of footwear and apparel using Nike Sportswear icons of the AW77 Hoodie, the NSW Tee, and the AF1. He interpreted the personality of New York City through a basketball lens, inventing the team, creating the mascot and competing it with a name. The Air Force 1 Hi Supreme from this drop we already presented to you the other day here.

Design elements include varsity patches, mascot logos and colors paying homage to teams that have the loyal following of its residents, while number patches honor the kings of the courts.

This Wednesday exclusively at Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer, the EAST Warriors collection launches with a special in-store DJ set by Clark Kent, and a limited edition shoebox and NYC chenille patch inspired by the footwear and apparel. The East Warriors collection drops at partners across the country on Black Friday, November 27th, 2009.
