Fitting that a Canadian designer would draw from toboggining for a line of furniture. Devin Schaffner grew up in southwestern Ontario. His curiosity for how things worked and how they fit together formed at an early age.

We may, then, assume that the Taboggin series is a culminative project – fusing together childhood leaning and professional study. We know, absolutely, that Schaffner has produced the pieces from red and white Corian with hopes that the pieces may serve multiple purposes. The project is on display this week in Toronto at the Interior Design Show. (via Contemporist).
