From February 4 to March 13, 2010, P.P.O.W. Gallery will present its sixth solo showing of Dinh Q. Le. Elegies includes two video installations – From Father to Son: A Right of Passage (2007) and South China Sea Pishkun (2009) – both being shown for the first time in New York. South China Sea Pishkun is Dinh Q. Le’s first animation (stills above and after the jump), and like From Father to Son explores the legacy of the Vietnam War.

P.P.O.W.’s presentation of the videos connects to Dinh Q. Le’s solo show at MOMA, The Farmers and The Helicoptors, opening in June.

P.P.O.W. is located at 511 W. 25th Street, Room 301, New York.
