Where form meets function

Congratulations are due to our friend Eugene Kan. His passion for photography well documented, Kan’s has organized “Day Job?” the Photo Exhibition, opening this Friday in Hong Kong.

Like Kan, the participating photographers in “Day Job?” are amateur. They are, strictly speaking, “hobbyists.” Yet, each has an eye for the moment and a knack for capturing the spirit of place. Besides, the people selected by Kan are also noted creatives – artists, designers, and writers – and their skill in other mediums of visual communication is not lost behind the camera.

Each photograph presented is available framed and printed with archival ink. Proceeds from the sale will go to benefit the International Center of Photography (a bloody fine institution, in our opinion).
