Where form meets function

Pierre Paulin designed the Pumpkin Chair for Claude and George Pompidou in 1971, the couple using them to furnish the drawing room of the Elysee Palace. The chairs inspired a wider release in 2008, and now in conjunction with its 150th anniversary, Ligne Roset is offering two special editions of Paulin’s famed arm chair. One comes in a unique combination of 8 shades of red, the other focused on blues.

Like all Ligne Roset 150th anniversary product, the Pumpkin Chair’s will be limited to 150 and will feature specially branded tags. They hit market on July 10, 2010 and only 42 will land in North America.
