Really fun video from the Art Gallery of Ontario. In preparation for the newly opened Drama and Desire: Artists and the Theater, museum art handlers Craig, Ben, and Ruth install Jaques Louis-David’s The Oath of Horatti.

The exhibition is on view through September 26, 2010.

An art experience unlike any other. Featuring artwork inspired by the theatre, presented “on stage” with live performers, full-scale sets and period lighting. See works by Degas, Delacroix and other masters, from the world’s greatest museums — including the Tate, MoMA, Musee d’Orsay, Louvre and the Met.

A look at The Oath of Horatti and Degas’ L’Orchestre de L’Opera (ca. 1870) after the jump.
