The Missoula Art Museum is hosting Bristish sculptor David Nash’s Crack & Warp Column through October 31, 2010. Nash composes his sculptures through use of heavy tools – chainsaws, for example – which he takes to fallen timber. Crack & Warp Column is made of red gum eucalyptus, and advertised as bringing nature inside the gallery.

MAM also allows visitors to the museum to comment on their favorite pieces. I like the nature of this interactive, and as Jose (above) fell for Nash’s work, wanted to share his thoughts here too.
