Books and coffee are old bedfellows. As such, we have all experienced a coffee shop-cum-bookshop, or vice versa.

For the interior of the D’espresso Cafe on New York’s Madison Avenue, Nema Workshop utilized sepia-toned custom photo tiles. Then, they flipped the faux library on its head – turning it upside down and sideways. The resulting interior is surrounded by books, paying tribute to both the nearby Bryant Park Library and the undeniable connection between a good book and a good cup of Joe.
