“Unfolding Unfolding” covers six decades of Judit Reigl’s ink and mixed-media works. Reigl is regarded as one of the most innovative post-war artists, her experiments in style and form – alternating between figurative and non-objective while blurring lines between abstraction and surrealism. Utilizing both sides of the canvas, Reigl also challenges viewers with how her works should be read.
“Unfolding Unfolding” runs at Ubu Gallery (the exhibit is made possible through partnership with Janos Gat Gallery) through February 12, 2011.
