While I’m a little late in the game writing about the Street Photography Now Project, it runs until October 2011 so there is no time like the present. Devised as a user generated exhibition, the projected hinges on weekly instructions posted by a cast of internationally renowned photographers. Week 9, examples of which are found after the jump, called for “looking for a pair, two pairs, or three of a kind.” The instructions are posed simply, as you can see above.

The project is a collaboration between The Photographers’ Gallery, London, and Sophie Howarth and Stephen McLaren, authors of the book Street Photography Now.
