For Wallpaper*s “Handmade Issue,” Japanese firm Analogue Life helped produced a limited collection of tableware. Each piece features the “asterisks” mark on bent wood – made from 200 year old strips. The above, the Pan Zara by Yoshimasa Shibata, is my personal favorite from the collection.

After the jump, view the Kami mug cup by Hidetoshi Takahashi. Like the pan, the cup is utmost simplicity from traditional techniques. Visit Analogue Life for more.
