Design
Where form meets function

Designed by Florian Hauswirth, the FHNY Collection is “a result from Hauswirth’s artist residency from the Bernese Foundation for Applied Arts in New York, contemplates the origin of objects in terms of material, production and place.” Notable is the chair, three-legged with an oar shaped back rest and inspired by Shaker design and the ever present Eames, the collection includes four objects in all. The seating furniture is complemented in the series by a nutcracker, ceramic vessels, and a wooden scoop. (via Dezeen).

Hauswirth’s FHNY collection follows in full after the jump.
