A Palace For Us is on view at the Serpentine Museum through January 20, 2010. “Working with residents of the Woodberry Down Estate in east London, artist Tom Hunter has created a film that includes interviews and scenes re-creating life on the Estate throughout its entire history. The film is screened daily in the Gallery’s Sackler Centre of Arts Education.”

Hunter is one of five artists who has been commissioned by the Serpentine as part of the Skills Exchange Project. This project finds artists collaborating with various groups in aid of social change.
