Jason Thielke’s Zero-Zero opens at Denver’s David B. Smith Gallery on April 15, 2011. Thielke’s work, “demonstrates aesthetic elements that encompass both contemporary and traditional techniques much like modern architecture. This style emerges in deeply personal, figurative works, which comfortably contrast hard lines with soft features and mixed emotions.” The results are highly detailed, delightfully delicate figurative pieces using acrylics and colored pencil.

Zero-Zero will run to May 14, 2011.
