In response to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Graphite. will be holding a silent auction and film screening on March 31, 2011.

The organizers note –

All proceeds from this event will be donated to a non-profit organization, JHelp (, which is dedicated to helping earthquake and
tsunami victims in Japan. Currently they are working to bring food,  clothing, blankets, water, etc. to the people in the Tohoku region where
the tsunami hit hardest. They have been granted special permission to use restricted roads for transporting goods, and they are the only non-governmental non-profit organization with a 24hr/7day emergency assistance. We are close with the organizers, and are confident that our donation will be put to good use. The recovery and mourning in Japan has just begun. The crisis could get even worse, depending on what happens next at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Now, more than ever, the Japanese people need our help and support to get through this crisis. Please come and join us for a fun night and a good cause.

The event begins at 6pm and rolls on to 10pm, tomorrow night, March 31, 2011.
