Produced by Canadian firm The Practice of Everyday Design, the Log Chop Bench combines rather traditional craft and cutting edge technology and upholstery. It is a one off piece, something that articulates well the theory of “the craftsmenship of risk” – especially as the reclaimed log used was given over to a competitive woodchopper with little more than a directive to interpret a classic log seat.

The result is suburb.
