Artist and filmmaker Martha Colburn’s  tackles the topic of war, from Bunker Hill to Baghdad, in her new 10-minute animated film, “Triumph of the Wild” at the St. Louis Art Museum. The film employs collage, animation, found imagery and even the use of jig-saw puzzles to convey a message alerting viewers to the dire consequences of war.

The installation will run through September 5.
